How a postcode is priced
Every appliance has its own listed price, from a microwave up to a 100 cm range cooker, and you can see them all on the oven cleaning price list. Where the home is can change the total, so the office puts the items and the postcode together before anything is booked. Enter the postcode on the form, or give it when you ring, and the figure you hear back covers both. Once the office has confirmed that figure on the call, it is what you pay.
Postcode districts do not follow borough lines. If you are not sure which borough you live in, the postcode is enough: the office works from that.
Parking and permit zones
The cleaner arrives with the equipment and the products, and needs to park close to the door. Where that means paying for a street bay or a pay-and-display space, the cost is added as paid, and never more than £40. Mention a residents’ permit zone on the call, and any drive or bay the cleaner could use.
Can any borough book any day of the week?
Yes. The booking line opens at 8am and closes at 7pm every day, for every borough on the list, with the date fixed during the call. Sundays are limited, so the office checks those before agreeing one. Half the price, paid as a deposit by bank transfer or card, holds the day.
Before the cleaner arrives
Leave the water and the power on. Have the oven switched off and cool. An AGA or other heat-storage cooker has to be turned off ahead of the visit, at a time the office agrees with you. Answers on timings, door glass and trays are on the oven cleaning questions page.
