Valuation Office counts put 53.5% of the homes in Worcester Park’s two wards in the 1930s, so the kitchen is usually in an interwar house. One oven door costs £77 and two £110 for oven cleaning in Worcester Park with Cleaning Oven.

No other decade shaped the district as much. At the 2021 census Worcester Park North and Worcester Park South, its two wards in Sutton, had 5,903 households: 76.1% owned their home, 16.3% rented privately and only 19.9% lived in flats. Terraced houses held 34.0% of households across both wards and 41.1% in the North ward. The postcodes are KT4 and SM3.

Counting the doors on a 1930s cooker

The cooker in a terrace or a semi of that age could be a built-in pair, a freestanding cooker with a grill above the oven or a single under the hob. The price follows the doors and the width. One door up to 60 cm is a single at £77. Two doors at that width is a double at £110, and the cleaner treats each cavity as a full oven: racks, runners and the fan cover where it unscrews come out to soak, two trays are included, and any extra tray is £6. A double usually takes longer than the 40 to 90 minutes of a single. With the hob and a standard hood added, the visit is £143; the soak for the pan supports and burner caps is described on the hob cleaning page. Measure anything wider before you ring: a 90 cm oven with one cavity is a single wide at £114, and a 90 cm range cooker is £143.

Weekday permit hours on Central Road and the Stone Place car park

Sutton’s parking checker puts stretches of Central Road in two permit zones, WP1 for the Longfellow Road area and WP2 for the Moreton Road area, and both operate only from 10:00 to 12:00 on weekdays, so a morning visit is the one where parking needs planning. The Stone Place car park charges nothing for up to two hours with a ticket from the machine and nothing at all on Sundays. Stay longer and it is charged by the machine rate. Whatever the cleaner pays for parking is added at cost, never more than £40. If you hold visitor vouchers for a zone, say so when you book.

Questions about oven cleaning in Worcester Park

Can a KT4 garden barbecue be booked without the oven?

Yes. A large barbecue, with a cooking area over 50 cm, is £100; a small one costs less than the £67 minimum, so booked on its own it is charged at £67. Semi-detached houses held 46.2% of households in Worcester Park South ward in 2021, and barbecue cleaning explains how it is done in the garden.

Can I ask for an afternoon visit, after the WP1 and WP2 hours?

You can ask when you ring. The date is fixed during that call, and no arrival time can be promised. The WP1 and WP2 permit zones on Central Road operate only from 10:00 to 12:00 on weekdays, so a visit that starts after noon there usually needs no paid bay or permit.

How can I tell if my Worcester Park road is a permit parking area?

Look at the signs where the road begins. In Sutton’s permit parking areas, which take in parts of Worcester Park, a vehicle needs a permit during the hours those entry signs show, and the council’s parking checker names each zone, WP1 for the Longfellow Road area among them. Give the office your road when you book.

Has the charge at Stone Place car park gone up?

For longer stays, yes. Under a Sutton notice dated 7 May 2026, the charge for up to three hours at Stone Place rose from 1 June 2026; up to two hours is still free with a machine ticket. A single oven usually fits inside those two free hours, and anything the cleaner does pay there is added at cost, never above £40.
