Four build-to-rent blocks run by Vertus hold 1,893 flats, all of them for rent, and a check-out from any of them can include oven cleaning in Canary Wharf with Cleaning Oven, from £77 for a single.

Canary Wharf ward held 8,556 households in 2021, and 93.5% of them lived in purpose-built blocks; terraced houses accounted for just 2.3%. Private tenants made up 53.6% of households, social tenants 23.0% and owners 21.0%, with 2.4% in shared ownership. The ward is E14, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Moving out of a build-to-rent flat

Wood Wharf is planned for up to 3,600 more homes, 25% of them affordable. For a tenant leaving a Vertus flat, the oven goes on the list for the last days of the let, once the final meal is cooked, and in a kitchen this recent it is most likely fitted into the units. One oven door is a single at £77; two are a double at £110. A ceramic or induction hob adds £23, and the oven, hob and hood together come to £117 around a single. Burnt-on carbon usually comes away. Scratches on the glass and marks etched into the enamel are damage and stay, so note them before the check. The end of tenancy oven page covers how the visit fits around a check-out.

Concierge desks and lifts at Wardian

On Marsh Wall, Ballymore’s Wardian is two towers of 55 and 50 storeys with 767 homes and a 24-hour concierge. With two towers on one site, name the right one as well as the flat number when you book. The equipment rides up in the lift with the cleaner. Upstairs, the racks and tray go to soak while the cleaner hand-cleans the oven walls, the seal and the glass. Whether the inner panes can be reached depends on the door’s design, which is why the make and model are asked for on the call.

Weekday control in Zone D

The council’s parking map marks Zone D as the Isle of Dogs area, controlled from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. A weekend visit on a public street there falls outside those hours, while a weekday one may need a paid bay. Whatever the cleaner pays goes onto your bill unchanged and is capped at £40. Tell the office the building’s address and its car park or loading entrance, if it has one.

Questions about oven cleaning in Canary Wharf

Can two flats in the same Wardian tower be booked for one day?

Yes, if the office has the day free for both. Wardian on Marsh Wall holds 767 homes in two towers, and each flat is booked on its own, priced by its own oven and held by its own 50% deposit. Give the office the tower and both flat numbers, and say if you would like the two visits one after the other.

Does the visit cover the fridge before a Vertus check-out?

No. Fridges are not cleaned, and nor are cupboards or worktops; the visit is for the oven and whatever else you book from the price list, such as the hob. Vertus runs four build-to-rent blocks in Canary Wharf with 1,893 flats between them, and a tenant leaving one who wants the whole flat done can ask the office about it on the call.

Does it matter if a new E14 oven has a self-cleaning setting?

Mention it when you ring. The office asks about self-cleaning and pyrolytic ovens on the call, along with the make and model. The price list has each item.
